Drs. Rajat Mathur and Sangeeta Mathur founded the Dr Mathur Eye and Children Hospital in March 2002. The Leelawati Multi Specialty Hospital is an expansion of that facility. The current facility was created as a consequence of the family commitment to provide the people of Ambala with accessible, high-quality healthcare and the vision of their mother, Mrs. Anju Mathur.
